The project provides for the implementation of research and development works on the development of a new solution in the form of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for air quality monitoring. As part of the project, 3 basic problems were defined that require research and development activities: Development of an appropriate miniaturized air pollution sensor, adaptation and production of a drone swarm control system, as well as model development and implementation of a data processing, analysis and presentation system. Ultimately, we plan to start measuring air pollution by moving a swarm of 49 drones (7×7 matrix), which will transmit recorded data on air quality in real time.
